Hey, I’m Lauren!

(and that’s my dog Rusty)

I remember as a child making sure my bed was made, throw pillows were on and a Chapstick was at my bed stand- I was ready to get the day started.

Despite having a knack for organizing and decorating, this was not my initial career path. It wasn’t until some big life changes- buying a home, getting married, and adopting my dog, where I made the decision to leave a career I thought I would be in forever. 

Fast forward to the onset of Covid-19. I always thought I had an organized home and oh, let me tell you, I took it to a whole new level. The idea of owning my own business was one that I played around with and in the fall of 2021 my idea started taking shape.

I researched, I did tons of trial and error in my own home, I posted on social media and in rolled the messages- I was on to something. My love for decor, passion for helping people and making their lives easier guided me. I worked tirelessly and in November of 2021 I launched Simplify By Lauren.

During my free time I like to work out, go thrifting, check out local small businesses, and spend time with my friends and family. I am a proud Auntie and mom to my rescue-pup Rusty- the redbone coonhound.
